Amazon had a big week, especially after a couple of big wins for its show Transparent at the 67th Emmy awards last weekend. In accordance with the success, Amazon announced it will be dropping the price of a Prime membership to $67 for Friday, the 25th. This shaves roughly a third of the cost down from its normal $99 annual subscription. A Prime membership includes free two-day shipping, as well as unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows.
