Mobee and Bai: The Importance of Companies Partnering Locally

Mobee and Quad Analytix merged to form Wiser Solutions Inc. in 2017.

Our CEO Hal Charnley wrote a piece for BostInno in which he and Mike Budz of Bai Brands sat down to speak about what it means to partner locally. In the article Hal and Mike focus on the culture of Boston companies and how essential it is for a partnership like Mobee and Bai’s to succeed both locally and nationally.

Boston has been showing a consistent theme across all markets; collaboration. There is a huge trend in companies partnering others in the Hub, and being that the Boston tech sphere recently outranked Silicon Valley, it is easy to see why. Boston is a city of passionate, innovative, creative companies. Both Mobee and Bai recognize the advantages of working together and sharing the same landscape. Hal and Mike both were drawn to Boston because of its culture, and know the key advantages to scaling their business by partnering with those who share the same company ethos.

Aside from pride of Boston’s emergence as a leading business destination, both Hal and Mike understand the importance of face-to-face. Hal says that nonverbal cues determine “90 percent of communication”. Mobee’s reps are able to head over to Bai’s Framingham office frequently to discuss what they are working on and culture sharing. For Hal, culture sharing is important to “understand why they do what they do for themselves, and for us”.

While Boston is a great place for business development, Mobee is a company with national reach. We can scale missions for brands and retailers no matter the location within the nation and quickly collect the data necessary to address their business needs. It was great to comment alongside Bai over this topic and see their continued growth in the Boston market.
